Law School

I think I am going to miss it . . . this thing they call law school.

This thing that is supposed to consume your life and transform (or twist, depending on how you look at it) your mind.

This thing that is a foreign language for even English speakers.

This thing that has demanded a lot and rewarded with more.

This thing that has provided incredible teachers and mentors and life-lessons.

This thing that is more academic than life experience, and yet somehow comes up in every-day living.

I finished my last class today. I still have finals to take, but I am going to miss it.

I like school in an odd sort of way, and will miss having learning be my only job.
